Mexico — Four-Way Shuttle Pilot System, 2,372 Pallet Positions
Not every project is a mega-site. This 2,372-position pilot let the operator validate four-way shuttle economics on one block before scaling — a pattern we actively support, because a pilot engineered to full spec becomes the template for the next ten sites.
The project
A 2,372-pallet-position four-way shuttle pilot in Mexico, delivered for a warehouse automation technology provider proving out dense automated storage for its client. Pilots are how careful operators enter automation: validate throughput, reliability and ROI on one block, then scale with confidence.
The mistake is treating a pilot as a toy. A pilot built to production spec answers every question that matters; a pilot built cheap answers none.
Full-spec at small scale
This block was engineered to the same standard as our mega-sites: FEM 10.2.19-based design, shuttle-interface rail tolerances, factory trial assembly before shipment, and installation by JISE crews.
That discipline is what makes the pilot a template — the roll-out sites that follow reuse the same rail profiles, the same interface data and the same installation method, so scale-up is replication, not redesign.
The pilot pattern
JISE supports the pilot path deliberately: budgetary pricing for the full network up front, one block engineered and installed to final spec, and a scaling plan that holds unit economics as positions grow from 2,000 to 50,000+.
For integrators, a pilot is also the lowest-risk way to qualify our manufacturing against your shuttle interface — first-article inspection on 2,372 positions tells you everything about the next 200,000.
