China — AGV Racking for Jointown Pharmaceutical Logistics

AGV racking for Jointown, one of China's largest pharmaceutical distribution groups: robot-compatible shelving for goods-to-person pharmaceutical fulfillment, manufactured and installed by JISE. Pharma goods-to-person combines robotic handling with the industry's strictest inventory discipline.

The project

Jointown's pharmaceutical fulfillment network runs AGV goods-to-person automation, with robots bringing tote-loaded shelving to picking stations. JISE manufactures and installs the racking those robots carry.

Pharmaceutical distribution adds its own requirements: clean finishes that withstand frequent wipe-down, precise shelf geometry for tote handling, and batch documentation that survives audit.

What JISE delivered

Robot-compatible shelving frames manufactured to the automation system's interface drawings: uprights, shelves, beams and base plates with level adjustment on 50/75 mm pitch, powder-coated 60–80 µm on JISE's automatic line.

Installation by JISE crews included floor fixing and alignment verification to the robot navigation map's requirements — the interface between steel and software that decides picking accuracy.
