China — 4,260+ Pallet Positions, Four-Way Shuttle for Jointown Yunzhi, Qingdao
Four-way shuttle racking for Jointown Yunzhi's Qingdao pharmaceutical logistics operation: 4,260+ pallet positions of dense automated storage. Pharma distribution adds its own discipline — batch traceability, clean inventory records, reliable FIFO — all of which machine-consistent shuttle storage supports by design.
The project
Jointown Yunzhi, the logistics technology arm of one of China's largest pharmaceutical distributors, automated pallet storage in Qingdao with a four-way shuttle system: 4,260+ pallet positions manufactured and installed by JISE.
Pharmaceutical logistics raises the stakes on inventory integrity: every pallet is batch-tracked, rotation rules are regulatory, and put-away errors are compliance events. Machine-executed storage removes the human variance from that chain.
What JISE delivered
Dense-lane four-way shuttle racking engineered to the shuttle supplier's interface data and FEM 10.2.19-based project calculations, manufactured in Dongtai and installed by JISE crews.
As on every JISE shuttle project, rail straightness and lane geometry were verified before shuttle hand-over — the step that makes commissioning a formality instead of a fault-hunt.
Pharma-grade storage logic
Dense shuttle lanes suit pharmaceutical distribution economics: high-value inventory held compactly, FIFO executed by the WCS rather than by forklift judgement, and every movement logged.
The Qingdao system adds to JISE's record across regulated and high-discipline storage environments — from pharma to food, cold chain and automotive.
